house in luang prabang thailand

The historic center of Luang Prabang is a peninsula, the house is located almost at the top of the peninsula, where the Khan river meets the Mekong, in short walking distance to all sights in the world heritage city.

Walking distance to the Khan river is 30m, to the Mekong 80m and to the most famous temple, Wat Xienthong, 50m. The location can't get any better than that. And your "house temple", Wat Khily, is just across a little alley, so you can chat with the monks from your terrace.

The UNESCO protected area (light blue) has strict regulations for buildings, so the area will always preserve its charm of bygone times. No building higher than 2 stories is permitted and more than 50 ancient temples and beautiful colonial buildings are all in walking distance. You can walk anywhere, the only transport you might enjoy is a bike.

Not only the town is protected but also the riverbanks on all sides, so the view will always be as green as in the pictures.
